Terms of Use

By accessing and using Internet and Mobile Association of India’s (‘IAMAI’/ ‘our’/ ‘us’ / ‘we’) online platform (“Platform”) in connection with the Digital Deccan Conclave(DDC), 2024 to be held on June 11, 2024 at Hilton Chennai (“Conference”), users (‘users’/ ‘you’/ ‘your’) have consented to comply with these Terms of Use (Terms/Terms of Use), Privacy Policy, Disclaimer and the Visitors, Speakers and Delegates Terms & Conditions attached hereto as Annexure A.

The usage of the Platform also means that users have read, understood and accepted these Terms, Visitors, Speakers and Delegates Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy and have agreed to be bound by them.

Additionally, users expressly agree that they will not infringe or violate any of IAMAI’s rights, including intellectual property rights such as copyright or trademark.

Our Platform uses cookies; by using our Platform, you are consenting to our use of cookies in accordance with the terms of our privacy and cookies policy.

By accepting the Terms, the user represents and warrants that they are at least 18 years of age and have the right, authority, and legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

If you register with our Platform, submit any material to our Platform or use any of our Platform services, it implies that you explicitly agree to these Terms.

  1. You may:
    • a. View pages from our Platform in a web-browser
    • b. Download pages from our Platform for caching in a web-browser
    • c. print pages from our Platform; and
    • d. use our Platform services by means of a web-browser, subject to the other provisions of these terms.
  2. Except as expressly permitted by the provisions of these Terms of Use, you must not download any material from our Platform or save any such material to your computer/device.
  3. You may only use our Platform for the purpose for which it is meant, and you must not use our Platform for any other purposes.
  4. IAMAI prohibits the modification, editing, and out-of-context use of the material on the Platform in any manner.
  5. You may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, reproduce, create derivative works based on, distribute, perform, display, or in any way exploit, any of the content on the Platform, in whole or in part.
  6. By accessing the Platform, the users agree that they will not scrape or attempt to scrape or extract any data.
  7. The users also agree that they shall not use the Platform for any monitoring, benchmarking or throttling or any other purposes that may impair the performance or functionality of the Platform.
  8. The users agree not to access or attempt to access any content available on the Platform by any means other than through the interface that is provided by IAMAI.
  9. We reserve the right to restrict access to areas of our Platform, or indeed our whole Platform, at our discretion; you must not circumvent or bypass, or attempt to circumvent or bypass, any access restriction measures on our Platform.
  1. You must not:
    • a. use our Platform in any way that is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity;
    • b. use our Platform in any way or take any action that causes, or may cause, damage to the Platform or impairment of the performance, availability or accessibility of the Platform;
    • c. use our Platform to copy, store, host, transmit, send, use, publish or distribute any material which consists of (or is linked to) any spyware, computer virus, Trojan horse, worm, keystroke logger, rootkit or other malicious computer software;
    • d. use Platform in any way or take any action that causes, or may cause, damage to the Conference or cause any prejudice to the Conference.
    • e. access or otherwise interact with our Platform using any robot, spider or other automated means;
    • f. violate the directives set out in the robots.txt file for our Platform; or
    • g. use data collected from our Platform for any direct marketing activity (including without limitation e-mail marketing, SMS marketing, tele-marketing and direct mailing) for any reason.
  2. You must not use data collected from our Platform to contact individuals, companies or other persons or entities.
  3. You must ensure that all the information you supply to us through our Platform, or in relation to the Conference, is true, accurate, current, complete and non-misleading.
  1. You may register for an account with our Platform by completing and submitting the account registration form on our Platform, and clicking on the verification link in the e-mail that the Platform will send to you.
  2. You must not allow any other person to use your account to access the Platform.
  3. You must notify us in writing immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
  4. You must not use any other person's account to access the Platform.
  1. If you register for an account with our Platform, [we will provide you with] OR [you will be asked to choose] [a user ID and password].
  2. Your user ID must not be liable to mislead; you must not use your account or user ID for or in connection with the impersonation of any person.
  3. You must keep your password confidential.
  4. You must notify us in writing immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized disclosure of your password.
  5. You are responsible for any activity on our Platform arising out of any failure to keep your password confidential, and may be held liable for any losses arising out of such a failure.
  1. If we find that you have violated these Terms of Use, we have the right to:
    • a. suspend your account
    • b. cancel your account; and/or
    • c. edit your account details, at any time in our sole discretion without notice or explanation.
  2. You may cancel your account on our Platform using your account control panel on the Platform.
  1. In these terms, "your content" shall be the information that you provide to register for the Conference and the information that is required by the Platform.
  2. You grant to us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free right and license to use, reproduce, store, adapt, publish, translate and distribute your content in connection with the Conference or any other conference or program that we organize at any time in the future, or in any other manner that we may decide.
  3. You may edit your content to the extent permitted using the editing functionality made available on our Platform.
  4. Without prejudice to our other rights under these terms, if you breach any provision of these terms in any way, or if we reasonably suspect that you have breached these terms in any way, we may delete, un-publish or edit any or all of your content.
  1. You warrant and represent that your content will comply with these Terms.
  2. Your content must not be illegal or unlawful, must not infringe any person's legal rights, and must not be capable of giving rise to legal action against any person (in each case in any jurisdiction and under any applicable law).
  3. Your content, and the use of your content by us in accordance with these Terms, must be correct, accurate and authenticate and must not be in violation of any applicable laws, rules/or regulations or infringe any copyright, moral right, database right, trade mark right, design right, right in passing off, or other intellectual property rights.
  1. IAMAI does not warrant or represent that the information contained on this Platform is accurate or complete, and hereby disclaims any and all liability to the User or any other person for any loss or damage caused by errors or omissions, regardless of whether such errors or omissions result from negligence, accident or any other cause.
  2. Further, IAMAI assumes no liability for the interpretation and/or use of the information contained on this Platform, nor does it offer a warranty of any kind, either expressly or impliedly.
  3. We reserve the right to discontinue or alter any or all of our Platform services, and to stop publishing our Platform, at any time in our sole discretion without notice or explanation; and you will not be entitled to any compensation or other payment upon the discontinuance or alteration of any Platform services, or if we stop publishing the Platform.
  4. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations and warranties relating to the subject matter of these terms, our Platform and the use of our Platform.
  1. The user agrees that IAMAI with or without any reason, may immediately terminate user’s access to the Platform without prior notice.
  2. Without limiting the foregoing, IAMAI may terminate or temporarily suspend user’s access to the Platform if he/she
    • a. breaches or violates these Terms,
    • b. there is a request by law enforcement or other government agencies, or
    • c. in case of unexpected technical issues or problems.
  3. 3. Users agree that all terminations of access to the Platform shall be made at the sole discretion of IAMAI, and that IAMAI shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever to either user or any third-party for any termination of access to this Platform.

IAMAI does not assume any liability for any damage you may experience or costs you may incur as a result of any transmissions over the internet or other publicly accessible networks, such as transmissions involving the exchange of e-mail.

In no conference will such data or information be deemed to be confidential, create any fiduciary obligations on IAMAI’s part, or result in any liability to you in the conference that such information is inadvertently released or accessed by third parties without consent.

IAMAI takes no responsibility whatsoever for the information you have uploaded to the Platform and shall not be responsible or liable for the deletion, correction, destruction, damage, or loss of such information, or failure to store any of such information.

Nor is IAMAI responsible for loss of information through the action of any third party or because of circumstances beyond IAMAI’S control. You are expected to have your own backup of all of your information.

To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, you understand and agree that neither IAMAI nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries, or any of their respective directors, officers, employees, partners, representatives, contractors or agents shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, exemplary or any other damages relating to or resulting from use of the Platform or from any actions IAMAI takes or fails to take.

These include but are not limited to damages for errors, omissions, interruptions, defects, delays, computer viruses, lost profits, loss of data, business interruption, unauthorized access to and alteration of transmissions and data, and other tangible and intangible losses.

This limitation applies regardless of whether the damages are claimed under the terms of a contract, as the result of negligence or otherwise, and even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

IAMAI is not responsible for deletion or loss of files or information uploaded to the Platform.

You understand and acknowledge that IAMAI will not be liable for any network-related problems attributable to the operation of the Platform and that network configuration changes may affect the Platform's performance.

You hereby acknowledge and agree that IAMAI shall have no liability whatsoever in connection with or arising from your use of the Platform, as set forth herein. User’s only right or remedy regarding any problems or dissatisfaction with the Platform is to uninstall it and/or discontinue the use of the Platform.

IAMAI shall in no case be liable for any personal injury, harm, or death related to use of the Platform, or for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of the use of or inability to use the Platform, even if IAMAI has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

This limitation applies regardless of whether the damages are claimed under warranty, contract, negligence, tort, or any other legal theory, and even if IAMAI or its representatives have been advised of the possibility of such damages. IAMAI's maximum liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, regardless of the cause of action, will not exceed Indian Rupees Hundred.

  1. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the user will fully indemnify and hold IAMAI and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, and partners, harmless from all damages, liabilities, settlements, expenses, fines, penalties, expenses, costs and attorneys’ fees arising from or related to any claim or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of the user’s access to or use of the Platform, user’s access to, creation of, or transmittal of any of the content, user’s violation of these Terms, or the infringement by user of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity. IAMAI shall provide notice to you promptly of any such claim, suit, or proceeding and shall assist you, at your expense, in defending any such claim, suit or proceeding. IAMAI reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to immediate indemnification.
  1. IAMAI and any other IAMAI trademarks and trade names, and any variations thereof, are and shall remain the trademarks and trade names and exclusive property of IAMAI, and any unauthorized use of such trademarks and trade names is prohibited.
  2. The Platform (including without limitation the related software and media, the design of the Platform and associated content including text, scripts, graphics, interactive features and the like, and the trademarks, service marks and logos contained therein (all programs, complied binaries, interface layout, interface text, documentation, resources and graphics) is the sole and exclusive property of IAMAI and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property common and statutory laws of the India and under applicable laws of other countries.
  3. You agree that IAMAI owns and retains all rights to the Platform and that is content is solely owned and controlled by the content provider and all such material are protected and copyrighted, trademarked and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property common and statutory laws of the India and under applicable laws of other countries.
  4. You may not sell or modify the Platform content or reproduce, display, publicly perform, distribute, or otherwise use the Platform in any way for any purpose.
  1. In order to make payments online, you undertake to use a valid payment card or bank details or third party wallets or details required for any other mode of payment (“Payment Details”) with the authority to use the same, to have sufficient funds or credit available to complete the payment for the services in good standing.
  2. By providing the Payment Details, you represent, warrant, and covenant that:
    • a. You are legally authorized to provide such Payment Details;
    • b. You are legally authorized to perform payments using such Payment Details; and
    • c. such action does not violate the terms applicable to your use of such Payment Details or applicable law.
  3. You agree that you are responsible for any fees charged by your mobile carrier in connection with your use of the payment services through your mobile.
  4. IAMAI shall use the Payment Details as described in the IAMAI’s Privacy Policy.
  5. You may add, delete, and edit the Payment Details you have provided from time to time through the Platform.
  6. Failed Transactions: Except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law, IAMAI is not liable for any payments authorized through the payment platform using your Payment Details.
  7. IAMAI is not liable for any payments that do not complete because:
    • a. Your payment card or bank account or third party wallet does not contain sufficient funds to complete the transaction or the transaction exceeds the credit limit in respect of the Payment Details provided;
    • b. You have not provided us with correct Payment Details;
    • c. Your payment card has expired; or
    • d. Circumstances beyond IAMAI’s control (such as, but not limited to, power outages, interruptions of cellular service, or any other interferences from an outside force) which prevent the execution of the transaction.
  8. With regards to payments, IAMAI shall not be responsible or liable for any unauthorized transactions conducted on IAMAI’s platform using your payment card or internet banking.

IAMAI reserves the right at any time, without previous notice, to add, alter, modify, change or vary all or any of these Terms. The revised Terms shall apply to your use of our Platform from the date of publication of the revised terms and conditions on the Platform, and you hereby waive any right you may otherwise have to be notified of, or to consent to, revisions of these terms and conditions.

We shall have the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, add, or remove any terms or conditions of these Terms without notice or liability to you. Any changes to these Terms shall be effective immediately following the posting of such changes. You agree to review these Terms from time to time and agree that any subsequent use by you of our Platform following changes to these Terms shall constitute your acceptance of all such changes. Under certain circumstances, we may also elect to notify you of changes or updates to our Terms by additional means, such as pop-up or push notifications or through e-mail notifications.

  1. You hereby agree that we may assign, transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with our rights and/or obligations under these Terms.
  2. You may not without our prior written consent assign, transfer, sub-contract or otherwise deal with any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.
  1. If any provision of these Terms is determined by any court or other competent authority to be unlawful and/or unenforceable, the other provisions will continue in effect.
  2. If any unlawful and/or unenforceable provision of these Terms would be lawful or enforceable if part of it were deleted, that part will be deemed to be deleted, and the rest of the provision will continue in effect.
  1. A contract under these Terms is for our benefit and your benefit, and is not intended to benefit or be enforceable by any third party.
  2. The exercise of the parties' rights under a contract under these Terms is not subject to the consent of any third party.
  1. The Terms of Use [together with [our privacy and cookies policy],] shall constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of our Platform and shall supersede all previous agreements between you and us in relation to your use of our Platform.
  2. Law and jurisdiction: These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Indian Law. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, India.

The Digital Deccan Conclave (DDC), 2024

Visitors, Speakers and Delegates Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions for visitors, speakers and delegates are applicable for every person registered as a regular visitor and/or delegate and/or speaker to attend the Digital Deccan Conclave(DDC) to be held at ___________, Chennai, India (“Venue”), on the ___, May, 2024 (hereinafter referred to as “Digital Deccan Conclave 2024/Event/DDC 24”).

Digital Deccan Conclave is organized by Internet and Mobile Association of India (‘IAMAI’) (“Organizers”).

The visitors/delegates/attendees/speakers (“You/Your”) have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions and accept to be bound by them.

  • a. When registering for Event, You agree to the following terms and conditions:
  • b. You agree to bear the ticket cost of Event.
  • c. Only fully complete registration forms will be accepted.
  • d. The registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment in full, where applicable.
  • e. If the full payment has not been received by the Organizers before the deadline as intimated the registration shall automatically stand cancelled at the discretion of the Organizers.
  • f. If the maximum visitor/delegate capacity is reached, the Organizers reserve their right to refuse additional registrations.
  • g. Organizers reserve their right to change these Terms & Conditions and any other information contained on the said Event’s website, the Platform, or any website specifically developed for the Event or the Platform (the “Sites”) at any time.
  • h. Organizers encourage You to review the Terms and Conditions regularly for any changes.
  • i. The continued use of the Sites will be subject to the then-current Terms and Conditions.
  • j. You acknowledge and agree that the Date and Venue of the Event is fixed, and You have no right to seek or require a postponement of the Event nor reallocate the fee or Your booking to another event or activity that may be organized by the Organizers at any time in the future.
  • k. The Organizers reserve their right to alter the title, location, format, Venue, and date of the Event in its sole discretion.
  • l. Your continuous use of our Event website and Sites shall be deemed as your acceptance to the said changes.
  • m. By Registering for this Event, You explicitly consent that the contact information provided by You can be used by the Organizers.
  • n. You agree and consent that while registering for this Event, the details shared by You, if any, can be used by the Organizers and its third-party partners to share updates about this Event or any other events, conferences, services, product announcements, etc.,
  • o. Passes issued for use at the Event are valid for named registered visitor/delegate/speaker only and cannot be transferred, refunded, cancelled or upgraded.
  • p. You may be asked for a photographic ID during the Event.
  • q. If You are unable to provide identification that matches Your Pass you may be asked to leave the Event.
  • r. Right of admission to the Event is specifically reserved by the Organizers and You will not have any right or authority to question or dispute this right exercised by the Organizers.
  • s. You hereby grant consent to use the data shared by You during registration with third parties (i.e., sponsors & exhibitors), when You enter a physical exhibition booth to allow them to engage with You so that they may follow up and use Your details for marketing purposes.
  • t. You agree and acknowledge that the Organizers shall under no circumstances, whatsoever, be held liable for sharing any such information and/or for any unauthorized disclosure or misuse of any such information by a third-party including but not limited to Your personal information and non-identifiable information as mentioned herein.
  • u. All visitors/delegates/attendees/speakers themselves will be fully liable for their actions and no liability and/or responsibility, whatsoever, will be attributed to the Organizers and/or its partners for the acts and/or actions of any attendee/delegates/speakers.
  • v. Foreign visitors/delegates/attendees/speakers registering for the Event agree and acknowledge that it shall be their sole responsibility to take care of his/her visa /any other travel and stay requirements.
  • a. You must comply with the rules and regulations governing Your attendance at the Venue. If You bring any personal property to the Venue, You do so at Your own risk. Organizers and its partners are not responsible for any loss and/or damage to such property.
  • b. You shall neither steal anything from the Event Venue nor shall You damage anything at the Event Venue. You shall be solely liable for any such act and any damage to the Venue and shall fully indemnify the Organizers in that regard.
  • c. If You are using car parking facilities at the Venue, You do so entirely at Your own risk.
  • d. Organizers and its partners do not accept any responsibility for any loss and/or damage resulting from Your use of such car parking facilities.
  • e. Organizers shall not be responsible for any food allergies, disabilities, any health issues etc., of visitors/delegates/attendees/speakers attending the Event and You shall attend the Event at your sole risk.
  • a. Observe the rules, policies and procedures of the Event Venue including in relation to health and safety and any reasonable instructions issued by the Organizers and/or the management of the Event Venue;
  • b. Behave in a respectful, professional and appropriate way that does not breach any applicable laws or regulations;
  • c. Ensure You have adequate insurance for Your own requirements, including personal accident and travel insurance, prior to attending the Event; and
  • d. You agree that Your travel to and attendance at the Event is at Your own risk and not the responsibility of the Organizers. Organizers or its partners are not obliged to provide any advice or assistance relating to the obtaining of visas.
  • a. Organizers reserve their right to change the content, agenda, speakers, timing, and Venue of the Event, at any time and without any prior intimation to You.
  • b. All rights in all recordings, presentations, materials, and documentation - published or otherwise - made available as part of the Event (“Content”) are owned by the Organizers. No
    • i. photography, filming, or recording; or
    • ii. re-publication, broadcast, or other dissemination of the Content is permitted.
  • c. You shall not distribute, reproduce, modify, store, transfer or in any other way use any of the Content, including but not limited to, You shall not: Upload any Content onto any website, intranet, or shared system or include any Content in a database;
  • d. You shall not transmit, re-circulate or otherwise make available any Content to any third party;
  • e. You shall not use the Content in any way that might infringe or violate any of Organizers’ rights or that of any third-party or that may bring Organizers or any of Organizers’ affiliates into disrepute; or
  • f. You shall not make any commercial use of the Content.
  • g. Any Content is published online by the Organizers, the Organizers reserve their right to remove or suspend access to such Content at any time.
  • h. Organizers are not responsible for the content of any speaker’s/delegate’s presentation; such Content is the opinion of the speaker/delegate and not of the Organizers. No liability, whatsoever, can be accrued to the Organizers for any such content.
  • i. Organizers are the sole and exclusive owners all the intellectual property rights in the recording of the Event throughout the world and in perpetuity.
  • j. In addition to the Privacy Policy attached hereto, You hereby agree that by using the Sites and submitting the information on the Sites, You expressly consent to the processing and use of Your personal information according to the privacy policy on the Site.
  • k. You shall not use the Sites and/or any social networking website in connection with or to post any content which is illegal, offensive, objectionable, obscene, defamatory, which infringes the rights of another person or which contains confidential information of another person, which promotes or depicts human trafficking, child abuse, animal abuse, or which encourages or promotes abuse of alcohol, drugs or other substances, graphic or gratuitous violence; and/or content that is needlessly shocking to the senses, gratuitously gross, or which depicts or promotes accidents, death, hate speech attacking or demeaning a group based on race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, and the like.
  • l. By registering, You irrevocably agree to authorize and grant Organizers the right to:
    • i. Record Yourself (picture and voice) on photographs, film, and/or video tape, for audio and visual production.
    • ii. Edit the recording into a photo gallery/short film/webinar (which may include other recordings and material).
    • iii. Use Your name, voice, or other information concerning You and screen or place the recording online (including on social media).
    • iv. You agree and acknowledge that You have consented to be part of the recordings which shall be the sole and exclusive property of the Organizers. You further agree that the Organizers shall under no circumstances, whatsoever, be held liable for any infringement or violation of personal and/or property rights, whatsoever, based on the use of such recording by the Organizers or its partners.
    • v. It is acknowledged by You that at the time of registration, the Organizers provided the most recent information available, and You accepted that the Event's content and/or delivery can change beyond the control of the Organizers.
    • vi. You agree that the Organizers shall not be liable and/or responsible for any errors, omissions, or changes to the program or content of the Event.
    • vii. In case the Event is rescheduled, changed, moved or cancelled due to the imposition of any Covid-19 Government regulation or restriction or any other Force Majeure Event or for any reason whatsoever, the Organizers shall not be held liable or responsible for any resulting costs that You may incur for travel, and other related goods, services or compensation.
    • viii. Organizers reserve their right to make changes as they deem necessary without penalty.
  • a. To the extent permitted by law, Organizers’ aggregate liability to You, whether such liability arises in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any damages, loss, costs, claims, or expenses of any kind howsoever arising, out of or in connection with any Event booking (or requested Event booking) made by You or otherwise about the Event, shall be limited to the amount of the Event registration fee.
  • b. Organizers will not be liable under contract, tort, or for breach of statutory duty or otherwise concerning any matter arising directly or indirectly out of or related to any Event booking (or requested Event booking) made by visitors/delegates/attendees/speakers or otherwise with the Event, for any indirect, consequential, incidental or punitive loss, damage or liability or loss of profits, loss of business, loss of use, loss of data and loss of reputation.
  • c. You agree to fully indemnify, defend and hold harmless Organizers and members of the Organizers’ group, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, employees agents, and affiliates from all damages, liabilities, losses, claims, charges, injuries, fines, penalties, costs and expenses (and all legal costs including reasonable attorneys’ fees, court costs, expenses and settlements resulting from any action or claim) arising out of or in connection with, whether directly or indirectly, including but not limited to
    • Any acts of omission/commission or due to negligence of Your violation of law, byelaw, rules-regulation, notification and or for any third party claims for any of Your actions;
    • ii. any damage to the Venue and/or any property of the Venue;
    • iii. infringement of any third party intellectual property rights in the materials shared by You; and
    • iv. any breach of any of these terms and conditions by You.
  • d. You agree that the Organizers or any of its partners, agents, officers, employees shall not be responsible for any injury, death, damage, theft, losses or cost suffered at or as a result of the Event or any part of it related to the Event.
  • a. You agree to comply with all applicable laws concerning bribery, corruption, and related matters in connection with these Terms and Conditions and the Event.
  • b. You shall not offer or accept any financial or other advantages as an inducement or reward for any act or forbearance in connection with engagements related to the Event or to these Terms and Conditions.
  • c. Please be advised that the risk of exposure to Covid-19 exists in any event or public space, including the Event.
  • d. Before registering for and attending the Event, please ensure You have read the latest COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Government of India. Do not attend the Event if You are
    • i. Not Fully Vaccinated; OR
    • ii. Are showing COVID-19 symptoms such as but not limited to fever or a feeling of fever (chills, hot-cold), cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, unusual fatigue, sore throat or headache, loss or change in smell or taste.
    • iii. You are unable to comply with the latest Covid-19 travel requirements issued by Government of India or by Government of Tamil Nadu.
  • e. Please do not enter the Event if You cannot confirm all the above. If at any point during Your time at the Event, You do not meet all the above criteria, You will be required to isolate and asked to leave the Event Venue, at the Organizers’ sole discretion.
  • f. To protect the health and safety of all our Event attendees, Organizers require proof of WHO approved Covid-19 vaccinations or a negative RT-PCR test (taken under the supervision of authorized health professionals, within 48 hours) to be eligible to attend. This will be coupled with mask wearing throughout the Event.
  • a. Organizers shall not be liable for any hindrance, failure, or delay in performing any of Organizers’ obligations arising out of or in connection with these Terms & Conditions as a result of an event or series of connected events beyond Organizers’ reasonable control (including, without limitation, acts of God, extreme weather conditions, power failure, floods, lightning, storm, fire, explosion, war, riot, civil commotion, military operations, acts or threats of terrorism, malicious damage, strike action, lock-outs or other industrial action (whether involving our workforce or the workforce of any other party), failure or shortage of power supplies, etc., or any technical, electrical, internet, or any such failure, the default of suppliers or sub-contractors, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule regulation or direction, accident, failure or breakdown of plant, machinery, systems or vehicles, or a pandemic, epidemic, civil emergency or other widespread illness) (“Force Majeure Event”).
  • b. In the event of a Force Majeure Event, Organizers shall be entitled, without liability, at Organizers’ sole discretion to vary, perform, suspend performance of, postpone, cancel the Event and/or the contract between us and/or terminate the contract between us subject to these Terms & Conditions on giving written notice to You.
  • a. The Privacy Policy on the Site and the Cancellation Policy shall form an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
  • b. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted by the laws of India and You hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
  • c. No partnership, agency, joint venture, or employee/employer relationship is intended or created between us as a result of these Terms and Conditions.
  • d. These Terms and Conditions (together with any agreements or documents referred to herein or required to be entered into according to these Terms and Conditions) embody the entire agreement between us and supersede all previous agreements and arrangements.
  • e. No warranty, statement, representation, undertaking, or provision which may have been made or given before the date hereof shall be binding on the parties unless the same shall have been expressly incorporated herein, save that this shall not affect the parties' rights in respect of any fraudulent misrepresentation.
  • f. You are not permitted to transfer, assign, re-sell or otherwise dispose of any of Your rights or obligations arising under these Terms and Conditions.
  • a. By registering for the Event, You are explicitly consenting, under all relevant data protection legislation and other applicable legislations in force, to Organizers communicating with You by telephone, e-mail and post and using Your personal or company information for the following purposes:
  • b. Organizers’ internal purposes which will include accounts processing and internal analysis of delegates/speakers;
  • c. Publishing Your company names on the Event website, in the official catalogue for the Event, and/or in any other directory relating to the Event or relevant industry, in each case whether in print, electronically, or in any other media;
  • d. Inviting You to other events organized by Organizers or its group;
  • e. Disclosure of information to contractors who provide services in respect of the Event; and
  • f. Disclosure or transfer to members of Organizers’ group worldwide to allow the group to further develop its business and services to delegates.
  • g. Please contact us at d.indulekha@iamai.in, if You do not wish for Your personal or company information to be used in any of the ways mentioned above.
  • h. We will cease to use your Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Data or Information or company information only after receipt of Your instructions requesting us not to do so in terms hereof.
  • a. Passes once issued cannot be upgraded or cancelled or refunded.
  • b. If the Event cannot be held or is postponed due to events beyond the control of Organizers (Force Majeure Event) or due to events which are not attributable to wrongful intent or gross negligence of Organizers, Organizers will not be liable to You for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodation costs, costs for additional orders, financial losses, etc.,
  • c. Under these circumstances, Organizers reserve their right to either retain the entire registration fee and to use it for a future conference/event, or to refund the registration fees to You after deducting costs already incurred by Organizers and which could not be recovered from third parties.
  • d. No refunds will be given if visitors/delegates/attendees/speakers to the Event cancel their booking or fail to attend the Event.
  • e. You acknowledge and agree that these terms and conditions and the Privacy Policy and the restrictions therein are fair and reasonable and are reasonably necessary to protect the interest of the Organizers and to protect the value of the business of the Organization and associated goodwill.
